For the conservative child who has everything!

Don't ask me who found this.....they just did. Don't you just love the cute little eyes, the oversize boots, the sungoggles, desert camouflage and the cute little high powered rifle (I don't know anything about guns so perhaps the readers may be able to fill in the blank on that one).

And to cap it off, he's in God's hands!

And from the Vatican dept we have Jesus playing football. Hey! Check out the kid in red, he's taking down Jesus! I'd say the kid in yellow will win this game of football.

  • Oh, mate, just what we needed! Gotta love those marketing monkeys that come up with this stuff. And pity the poor ignorant people who will spend their hard earned money for it.

Can't tell if Jesus is handing off the ball or it is being handed off to him by the kid in yellow jersey. Ahhh, he (Jesus) must be the quarterback and handing off, since it is more blessed to give than to receive...

  • That stuff makes me psychologically incapacitated as I think that there are people who actually buy that stuff and believe fully in the bull crap.

  • Yes, these things just kill me! I've seen both figurines before. I'm sure they grace many a mantle and TV tray around the land. (forehead repeatedly banging desk)

  • Wow.. yeah I Linked your blog in an e-mail and forwarded it around. This is nuts. I'm so ashamed of the confluence of fascism and religion in my country.

  • I was expecting some like minded comments reagrding these. So thank you for delivering guys!

I've just watched Outfoxed and had a look around for some "Jesus action figures" after a friend came up with the 'Freedom Doll".

  • What a bad example Jesus sets: no helmet!

I've seen moveable Jesus figures too.

In our office we have a tack shelf, on which we keep holiday souvenirs that people buy us - we ask them for the most tacky thing they can find. I've seen various Virgin Mary and Bleeding heart Jesuses but never quite had the courage to buy them!

  • Yes no helmet and sandals!

I was in Lourdes and picked up a few similar souveneirs. The best was the Mary floaty pen where the blessed virgin descends into the Lourdes grotto from the heavens.
