My new dog

This is the first ever piece of art I've bought from a gallery. There were cuter more lifelike versions but this dog with a piece of a an old Singer Sewing Machine as a head appealed to me in a Gurdjieff man-is-reacting-like-a- machine sort of way. I thought the head was an old gun trigger mechanism at first.

Pick him up and shake him around and the large bolt wobbles around on the spring tail. He smells like old Oregon timber, sewing machine oil and dust.

Unfortunately what is supposed to be a gallery sticker underneath reads.......

I may have to return the sticker to Ian so he can get more labels! Artists, gotta love 'em.
